ROASTING

How often do you roast?

We currently roast every Tuesday, with order cutoffs at Monday 5pm PT.

How long should I let my coffee rest before brewing?

Coffees require some time to rest and de-gas after roasting before brewing. The amount of rest varies by coffee and roast level, but the general guidance is as follows:

For our Nova Series: we recommend at least 2-3 weeks rest from the roast date before brewing, or the date recommended on the bag

For our fruit-forward line: we recommend at least 2 weeks rest from roast date

For our cocoa-forward line: we recommend at least 1 week of rest from roast date

ORDERS

How do I pick up my order locally?

You can pick up your order on Thursdays at the café following the roast day, based on the order cutoff. We’ll send a confirmation when your order is ready.

Do you ship?

Yes! We can ship with USPS or UPS within the United States. Shipping is calculated based on your address and weight for orders below $55, and FREE shipping for orders over $55. For orders in Canada, we deliver via DHL (for now), with shipping lead times possibly longer than 7 days.

When can I expect my order?

We aim to give you the freshest coffee possible, so we aim to deliver your order as soon as we can!

Thursdays at 1412 Saratoga Ave San Jose, CA 95129 at the café

SHIPPING:

We ship orders on Wednesdays (unless there is a holiday). Orders (including subscriptions) are roasted and shipped based on when the order was placed (or billed).

Tracking information will be emailed when your order is shipped (sometimes you might get an early email if your label was created, but we ship on Wednesdays!)
